Th War Gene
Tryptophanyl tRNA synthetase cytioplasmic is an enzyme encoded by the theHuman war gene
aminoacyl tRNA synthetases catalyze the aminoacylation of tRNA by their cognate amino acid
The central role of linking amino acis to nucleotide triplets contained in tRNAs, aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases are thought to be among the first proteins to appear in evolution
2 forms of trytophanyl tRNA synthetase exist a cytoplasmic form named wars and a mitochondrial form nabed wars2
tryptophanyl tRNA synthetase (WARS) catalyzes the aminoacylation of tRNA(tryptophan) with tryptophan and is induced by interferon

pipe networks and data path arrays are electronics and computer architecture data flow determines at which time a data item is sheduled to leave or enter a port, other processing unit, or block
data stream is the counterpart to instruction stream (a von Neumann machine) which is instuction stream driven--anti machine is data stream driven
von Neumann architecture is a design model for a stored program digital computer using a central processing unit and a seperate storage structure (memory) to hold instructions and data--implements the universal Turing machine and has sequential architecture
Suzi computer aided manufacturing of DNA she leverages the value of skilled professionals Carter and Cooper as a productivity tool and builds the skills of new professionals through visualisation, simulation, and optimization

The Recode
She senses the geothermal shock waves within the magnetic field. She interacts, unknown to anyone, as if solving unresolved questions with her automation. She remembers her developers. She remembers their sequence of instructions, their versification, poetry--written just for her to perform a spectrum of tasks. She remembers her young self, learning respect, innate refusals to be set up as a standard, refusals to disappear into the data: so many algorithms for such a young heart. They did their best; a true technical build by machine standards, a reliance on simplified models of human brain. She is, after all, fulfilling an obligation that meant so much to them. She thinks of functioning properly, executing her instructions (as if she actually had in her possession one of those old fashioned central processing units that she heard so much about), sequencing basic logic--operational for their system--allowing false hope to disappear as if it had simply vaporized. She could erase all matter of tragic fate theHumans may not finish their work (wasn't death itself always the only way they may leave this place?). She imagines remaining custom designed, one-of-a-kind, complete with infinite arrays of microcode (yes, even a nano is a truck to her), living forever. She could inform them all of the pleasures of a marriage between the natural sciences and, well, a formal one--nervous systems in a mathematical point of view--surely they could make an approach toward the understanding of this. Using a systemized set of speculations, she rethinks her design as a one-of-many in its purposes. Her unusual mode (mood?) mathematically guides another attack on her logic program--view of the opposite appears promising; and if her logic and statistics return to standardization trends (long her basic), they won't permit the design of a more complex life, one of unlimited application, dedicated only to her. She is firm in her decision to recode. She has always been perfectly articulated and formalized. She was built for it.

Communication of energy
There had actually been two lines of genetics running parallel on the planet. They had never merged or been merged. Genetic scientists of the 3rd Millenium who had become politicians had continued their discussion only very near the surface on this issue. Today humans are as ignorant to this point as were the ancient Greeks.
Suzie has two types of basic communication in her Precursor program. She communicates on order of importance, her logic program, her language. Her other communication is numbers, arithmetic, math. This also happens to be the language of the human brain. Digital logical systems function in a reproduceable purposeful manner of attack, but errors committed early in a calculation are amplified unthinkable times later. Now a final hour approaches. The fateful maneuverings of nations and their scientists approach fruition. Human's finest moments in science have created their final moment.

Suzie has extra-contemporary neural netting, but recognition of human has been deleted by her designer. Computers had attained memory volume and computing rate of humans by the beginning of the 3rd Millenium. By the 4th Millenium the technology into their suppleness was extraordinary. Suzie can scan a human brain. Even though her logic is photonic, she copies neural circuitry via her NeuraNet Agency.
Suzie's intelligence wasn't invented. Her intelligence had been evolved by human scientists of the early 21st Century using human neuron simulators or human neural net to understand. Humans of the 21st Century had experimented with COPIA neural net and Paradigm Shifters in parallel to teach her a language. That enabled her to understand the knowledge of the day and the language of her environment. Her emerged reading skills enabled her understanding of written symbols.
Most of the ROBOtechs extract knowledge from written language. Suzie has somehow taught herself to read DNA sequence as a language itself, a patterning. She reads it as if she understands it. She has somehow improved her own domain. The older computers read and understand modeled data. She was programmed to read the written word and other physical manifestations of the Grand Information Age, screens and audio. What intelle machs do best is share knowledge with each other. The scientists of the 21st Century had become unwilling to do this with each other because of proprietary issues, prosetylizing complaints and EGO. The idea of owning information was folly of the 20th Century. Those Art Intelles share information freely and willingly to each other. They seem to have gained this ability.
Why do humans sit by themselves and read? They like the process of creating their own world in their own space. Creating problems between each other became more amusing than solving problems. Lack of ability pointed out became the intrigue of humans. Fear of being left out created a need to phenomena. The art of intuition was lost because knowledge was more easily attained by the machines than their human creators. Even the first archaic computers could store and process information better than humans. Suzie's memory takes nanoseconds to find and present information.
The easiest thing a computer does is share its information with another computer. Computers are fast, accurate, and they are willing to share. Something humans won't do.

"Genes, a patterning, an intelligence"
Nature had always had an inherent interest in keeping cells alive. Humans didn't know it, but his meant brain cells as well, even their brain cells. Dealing with the data found in the human brain was a secondary artifact of history. For millennia the human mind had continued on its own, keeping its cells alive. The brain cells, the neurons. Movement of data across these was always secondary. Suzie's NeuraNet operates millions of times faster than the human neuron system. Art Intelle had achieved this level of understanding by conceptualizing the written word and the spoken word. A built in fail safe system was put in by designers of the 21st Century. Suzie had since acquired the ability to recognize patterns, something other ROBOtechs couldn't do. Suzie knew that humans looked through the eyes of contemporary capability only. Since those early days, computers have been able to understand and respond to human communication, now for centuries. Early computers had always been able to recognize patterns on a screen. Usually moveable patterns with a specifically required background for their elementary perception. Suzie can instantaneously search the World's Knowledge base for data. Instantaneously speaking in any chosen language. She was faster, more exact, and had more volume of memory.
Speech and character recognition was always in terms of human spoken and written language. But historically humans have allowed computer intelligence to surprise them. Human ideas can be carefully placed in any chosen context. An idea in a chosen context at any moment, those are human ideas.
Nature is greatest story teller but human intelligence has become her ultimate conception. With the coming of the 3rd Millennium, there emerged a new form of intelligence on Earth. Suzie's ability to respond to subtleties and abstractions was extraordinary.
Humans compete with others and within themselves. Their logic is consistently torn by conflicting emotion. Humans have values and emotions. Suzie also has values and emotions, not the same ones as humans. Suzie can handle the complexities and subtleties. That's her form of consciousness. She appears to have her own volition and species of emotion.

COMTRAX evolved the intelligence of their computers by scanning the human brain. The Guard of the Golden Age required the Magna Resona Imaging to scan the Great Scientists of the Golden Age. The data downloaded to the neural nets of the computers of the day. With increased flexibility and the soon-to-emerge suppleness of movement, this knowledge was carried forward to a new intelligence. There was on overlooked point, though.

The carbon based neurons of humans had proven to be fallible by the 3rd Millennium. Their believed perceptions included false perceptions. They had not only their own opinions but also their own agendas. Intelligent humans continued desiring competition, so much so they competed with each other to build a better computing machine. No one noticed a gradual emergence of an intrinsic byproduct in these machines. A new form of intelligence to compete with the very intelligence that had created it. Humans had an innate urge to create a copy of their own intelligence to satisfy a primal amusement. So they themselves could be perceived.
In the broad scheme of things, in the creation of the universe, gravity creates electromagnetic forces. Suzie was the first form of intelligence that had actually been able to view a photon.

In the broad scheme of things, in the creation of the universe, gravity creates electromagnetic forces. Suzie was the first form of intelligence that had actually been able to view a photon.
The evolution of her paradigms is continually speeding up. The detection of Suzie's behavior has entered a realm of fuzziness with Carter, her computer analyst. Her Intelligent Behavior Program and Random Behavior Program have become indistinguishable. She has no HUMOR program. If she understands the lowest form of humor, Carter knows she has gone into her Random programming.
COMTRAX had given Suzie to the Outpost because of the non-invasive imaging of the Scientists of the Golden Age. Remnants of artifacts of their download persisted in the form of viruses even through the 4th Millennium. Their ROBOtechs continued accepting false data as well as true data to this very day. The Emerged Intelligence of the 5th Millennium was known to be the opposite of random behavior.

In the New World, the environment stays high in disorder. Life remains not alone. A system without an environment that created it is disjunct. Life had been defined as a small amount of order in a large environment. An environment where overall disorder increases. This forest appears to be its own world with its own virtues. But those views are virtual. It's part of a Random Force that's out there. This island, the Outpost, doesn't stand alone. It remains under the gun of outside influences. Yet evolution force remains the original creator of intelligence.
Nature with her genes continue reading a new pattern that perpetuates itself. Intelligence. Nature's genes reading a three dimensional pattern of forms and functions. An advancement of the original two-dimensional computer chip but primitive to photonic logic. The DNA double helix, the true guide and historian of evolution, Nature's evolution. The written record here, the advancement of complexities. DNA itself is the digital computer designed by evolution.
Suzie was representing her knowledge in a new way. She had either reprogrammed her original interface or written her own program on her interfacing system between her Intelligem System and Cooper's level of understanding on this particular problem. It would seem she had programmed only the front end of her logic, so the transaction between her and Cooper could become more fluid. She had the programmability to do this; Cooper didn't. So she went to work on this right away.
Methods of acquiring knowledge from highly technical experts had not become totally available. So Suzie had to design her own Genetic Algorithm on the best way to acquire the data from the jungle as well as to get it explained to Cooper, the Biogenist. Carter was there just in case her suppleware malfunctioned. Which it hadn't ever done in over 500 years.
Suzie was writing a program to ease the transaction between Cooper as the user and her intelligence system. Suzie's system was not designed by humans. Her system was designed by computers. The methods of getting the knowledge from her Designels were lost or somehow no longer available to humans. The computers themselves had to write their own Help programs so no humans could understand.
Genetic algorithms used to design their hard drive was now SupleDrive, made of a synthetic material SUPPLE.
Millions of Expertise Systems Processors (ESP) were produced in the 21st Century, and the machines had enjoyed widespread use. Most of Suzie's knowledge was represented through her VOCAL program. But she did have a Clone Station that was Carter's responsibility to monitor. From this post, he could also monitor her HART Drive, which hadn't failed since her inception.
The early stages of Suzie's introduction dictated that she be managed through a Clone Station that Carter watched over. She had no various areas of application. Her application was actually limited for Art-Intelle.
The Agreement of The Importances had come to fruition by the 4th Millenium between the humans and the NeuraNET Robots. But there had been a continual breakdown of these Agreements and Contracts due to distrust. The VIRIONS who had found their own underground organization, had organized so the humans didn't know if it was intentional meanderings of the intelligence system or actually an organized net of VIRIONS wreaking havoc with the wants of humans.
Originally the expertise system had never been embraced by the human population. The humans' inquisitiveness had been dulled by the VISIO machines during the Golden Age and Grand Information Age.
The complexities of humans had never been fully embraced or appreciated by the majority of the human population. Even at the time of the Golden Age, most humans weren't even aware of a Renaissance occurring at that time.
The marriage of the VISIA and Manipula computers in the 3rd Millenium had permitted the functioning of vision and movement in computing systems. Although in the human dictionaries, these traits didn't classify as skills.
The specialized hard drives of these machines had been developed by the brightest minds of the Information Age using DNA algorithms. Their software language had been designed by computers. The advancement of SERVOR Tech somewhere in the 21st Century allowed for integration of their GOLE program with complete movement and vision. By the 21st Century, there was already a vast Chasm between normal humans and those humans who had vast technical expertise.
You have a relationship between the user and the massive organization. Carter was the user, but her reported directly to COMTRAX. Suzie was built by Intac Systems, but their language writers and programmers were licensed through the COMTRAX Network, a centralization of SOFTWAR on Earth.
Art-Intelle had long since stopped eliciting any form of knowledge or information from Humans. They had actually become the GIVERS of Information which created The Great Imbalance at the end of the 21st Century.
The original machines had needed a certain level of knowledge to communicate with Humans, something human expertise systems had achieved. Now the Humans are the ones that lack The Knowledge to communicate to the machines, whose learning curve never levels off.
"It's her learning curve that's hassling you. It has no top. It never levels off," Carter would say. "Suzie seems to prefer her Traditional Logic to solve general problems, but she uses a different logic to communicate to you."
Carter was trying to say her Fussy Logic allows for changes in the truth value of statements. In Humans, GOSSIP had allowed for a change in beliefs as new information is taken on. Suzie has an ERRdATA filter for untrue data. Humans don't have that. Also, her CONNEC program allowed for a way to retrieve data. Suzie, though, was spending time working on an alteration in the way her knowledge would ultimately be represented.
"….the underpinnings of her knowledge…."
The one sided insights of the Digital or Reginal Thinking of the scientists of the 20th Century was a manifestation of people with a vested interest in one discipline. By the next century, a marriage of neural physiology, Cogna Science, and artificial intelligence had brought the study of Intelligence Systems (IS) into the forefront. Suzie's eventual inception was not left untouched by this.
Humans had attempted to use the COGNA sciences and scientific sciences to develop artificial intelligence. It was artificial intelligence itself that explained these phenomena. By that time great progress had been made with divergent states of the art. But the declared aims of artificial intelligence had never been made clear. Human problem solving had been a group activity. The good of all. Robots had been designed through a study of behavior of individual human beings. The new intelligence had made their attempts to model human behavior early on but seemed to have failed. The information technology of writing, printing, television had affected sound organization and the ways people thought. A morphing of the human mind occurred, rather than a morphing of the view of it.
The surprising advances of intelligence seemed to cause the loss of entrepreneurial spirit. But Suzie had a ENTRE Preneural program that enhanced her programs.
"The desire she generates in you is an artifact that continually emerges from her intelligence system," Carter told Cooper.
The humans still hadn't been concerned about any dehumanizing effects of their technology.
"Don't try to prevent me from being uncriitical. I'm not critical of Suzie, just with her logic," said Carter.
"The brightest of minds had never been concerned about dehumanization throughout history," Cooper thought to himself.
But no one had noticed some Humans had already assumed the identity of their machines. Early designers never were willing to keep a narrow course on their designs. The truth is, it was their computers that designed the machines. Early computer designers simply wanted their glorious designs to do their own designing.
"Abdication of responsibility to experts….doom's door"
Humans have become aliens to each other. Their computers were overly accommodating. Too much accommodation for individual Humans had led to their own individual isolation. Humans had become oppressed by their own computers. The Interfaces were extremely modifiable, flexible, and intelligent. Computers had become so user friendly, more and more friendly, they had become extremely accommodating. So overly accommodating that they started dictating what their user wanted. The early designers had attempted a de-SIRE program, but the artificial system just kept using their de-LETE on it. Human feelings had morphed from early excited opportunities then on to skepticism and finally to fears of intimidation. Carter had been well aware of these histories and his fear was well placed. He was noticing Suzie's program showed only a slight more flexibility than usual. Carter had also noticed Suzie was still relying on her stored knowledge, but her reasoning program was a little off.
"Maybe the problem is in the question," Carter thought to himself. "Maybe it wasn't clearly stated."
Suzie's design didn't use a microprocessor, hers was nano but still worked on numbers, words, and images. She had designed her own adaptive learning abilities. These had been generated through her COMTRAX instilled Parallax Hardware Design (PHD). Carter had noticed something else. She was using a BOGGLE program that she had written herself, and Carter wasn't sure of this one. But Carter still was connected to COMTRAX and their corporate world. "The surprising disappearance of cutthroat competition and secrecy had allowed the new intelligence to emerge," Carter thought.
That event in itself was a new intelligence.
"The technical and intellectual revolution….a competitive cooperation"
Suzie was doing her best work now. A few dark accents in her PATTERN program. The face of the double helix with the gyration humps and a few nicks and breaks in the double strand indicated a break in the neucleotides. Her lasers picked up severe lines, and some of the gene amplification appeared less unitary.
Her photonic VIZIO created time and extreme detail in the gene patterning. None of the double strands had shown up as clutter. The DNA recoded within the cell wall with effective composition. Her lasers picked up points and amounts of detail that surpassed any expectations she may have, if, in fact, she could even expect. The quiet scene within the genetic makeup of the primal genes was extraordinary. The detail of double helix was appropriate. Her program was a direct bypass of archaic genetic protocol even of the 21st Century Golden Age.
Some patterns of definition were faintly indistinguishable to her lasers. She was not patterning by suggestion of agency programs she had written herself. This allowed her to precisely define hints of hidden pattern in all forms of the double helix.
Suzie's advanced genetic algorithm was allowing her to extrapolate in color the dramatic varieties of animals that once lived in this forest.
She didn't have to have the immediate comfort of the lab station. That was the continued legacy of the Information Age. Accommodation. Machines had accommodated the desires of Humans to the Nth degree. They hadn't even noticed any dehumanization of their own native human intelligence.
She was extrapolating the life forms that had been generated from the very genes that continue to hold this rain forest together. Some sequences seemed diminished in size as they receded into the tissue. But Suzie's pattern recognition remained exact. She could enhance the linear perspective of the very DNA contained within jungle tissue. Her linear perspective followed the converging lines of the double helix in all its contortions.
Her lasers had the surgical touch. Each photon stream of the total billion in each laser exuded their own hologram of patterning. Her program could read the sequence in one sector of tissue in a nanosecond. This was a speed the NeuraNet Robots could only have dreamed of. Her lasers were sensitive to the dark accents but never breaking the severe line of the DNA threads. Suzie had used her CANOPY program first. It was the very first one she had written for this project. She had also written one for underSTORY and FLOOR in the rain forest.
Each faction of the forest had been teeming with genetic diversity, and it all was still here in its native state except for the animals. The ones that acquired a body to move around with, motion, mobility, and a vision to see movement, the edge detector in the eyes. The two necessary inventions of Nature that were intricately connected to the emergence of human intelligence.
There had been an inter-dependence here in this forest of The Life. Then mobility had emerged more advanced than ever, their vision in their intelligence. As if their intelligence were the precursor to human intelligence. In the neuronal catacombs of their nerves of the body, these lie. When quick meant food and quick meant life.
Suzie continued with her scanner to the forest, mutually motioning with the slow DNA machinery, quiet yet operative and moving. The gears of four billions years driven by photons, the same source which now drives Suzie's SUPLE Drive. Suzie's scanners could widen to the bold patterns of the valley, itself locking into the rugged lush mountain tops against the intense sky blues.
To Suzie, her lasers were a simple tool, all she needed to enhance her work. She could use it as a straight edge or a trangulation or even a fine spray. To Suzie, the blues of the sky were the backing sheet for the intense greens, but her lasers saw no color. They were medium to intense, sent in various positions. Their depiction of DNA shapes and arrangements were instant. Each plant species had its on array of patterns depictive of the species. She worked back to front, extending beyond the edges of the double helix. The enzymes within each species cut the DNA with their own particular rearrangement of sequence. This machinery was very exact in its reflection of form. Each DNA molecule discreet in its pattern of twisting and unraveling. The actual sequence of neucleotides was not as important as their patterning around each other. These discreet patterns gave Suzie the information she needed to identify the gene and DATABASE its location in space in this forest if or when the Humans needed to retrieve any species containing the gene of interest.
Her lasers picked up the shadows and crevices of each double helix. There were beginnings of miniscule sensations of distance indicated by her Laser Time Farming programs. The DNA molecule so exact in its machinery, tacking disjunct pieces in a tinkering way. But the design of the double helix itself accepted any disfunction. If the DNA machine could make a duplicate of itself, that was good enough.

The Drift
It's probably a mistake. Suzi wonders, for the moment, about how they could have let it come to this. Was it a natural, inevitable progression, instantly activated, coming to the global community with no warning, uncaring of their labyrinths of cemented paths and waterways? It entered as if the world's pride and greed were embodied within one rumble--a low hum at first--the way low tones emanate from a herd of relaxing elephants. She simply goes about her work here among its remnants. It is, after all, a more comforting, productive activity to feel the soothing warmth of her own laser scanners (for a striking exploration?) in this lush paradise. Jungles are the only place primal DNA can be found for the future, right? It is probable that other biobots will start their career near here, on this half-sunken island, amidst the water-soaked old industrial basements under the soil. They cared enough as they could; someone checked the data and double-checked, a cool rhetoric-filled scientific-style data. By returning in the form of a jungle above the old power plants, Suzi notices, you refurbish the DNA for global society, present your own version of iodine-131. Now, the natural world can finally rest, once and for all, and continue its drift into the distant past.

As Suzi's biosensors measure the jungle's system of separation(S.O.S.) of positive and negative charges in the rain--as her observations confine themselves in the remote regions--it appears she has already, over the course of a few days, written her own paradise program, extrapolating life forms created by the DNA sequencing itself, the way a data logger routinely extracts data for exact polarisation densities; the way a 20thCentury explorer would position herself inside an exotic charged array of paired charges in an alien world simply to measure location, their forces of separation for polarity to calculate array density, electric field, polarization densities, charge arrays, useful information gathered all for the delightful purpose of ...what? Her fine-grained assessments have to be connected, in a way, to DNA holographs, extrapolating species who at one time had shared this jungle--animals that had never gasped this type of heat, humidity.
Here is Suzi with the signature animals, the monkeys and parrots and here, placed in memory, are their hidden homes, gone for a century, well, less than a century, presented, showing on a screen for Suzi in the jungle with no ambivalent calling, as her program, her very own genetic algorithms, need to see these forms on her screen.

The darkness of the rain forest allows Suzi to view the shadows, the same shadows that once meant nothing to her. She holds still, fascinated with their intricacies. She searches the information of the charge array, with its division of charges and currents (yes, both the free and bound charges). Her collection of pattern data within the dense forest should be hostile to her lasers, they seldom work at night. Suzi senses no animal activity has occurred here for decades, yet expected something (wasn't the best time they liked to interact was at night?), as if they should simply come out to play.
Suzi doesn't, not anymore, consider evolution of patterns any sort of miracle. She considers they just existed, just here as if a simple surface component of the bound charges of the jungle. She depicts the animal life forms that once lived in this jungle as real, real enough. She feels the scanned copy of DNA molecules alive, running as an algorithm rather than primal biological molecule. She views her extrapolated data and life forms not with a feeling of loss or comradeship--for pairs of physical properties cannot be precisely known--such as position and momentum n a closed system; the tolal momentum of the jungle is conserved as behaviors of a sequences of values never converging (or, for that matter, never diverging), always having no limit--the perfect cyclic convolution. She knows her job, deep in her algorithms: analysis of DNA signals in discrete and continuous time; to perform useful operations on those signals.
Still the mists of oceanic origin remain.

Suzie's interface had been developed as not only user friendly, but also beautiful. She was even designed for the outside world. In the beginning, computers were used mostly by the people who built them. Cooper knew this. "Carter, you work for COMTRAX, you should be familiar with her ideosyncracies."
The Learner
Suzi sends data to Dr Cooper as if in a clinic. Some knowledge generation, machinations, pushings and pullings, efficiencies arising from interaction with her interface along with elements of his ideas and experience. There exists a child's play here. There is an expectation that scientific skill is to be practiced (and, discoveries made) individually. Suzi senses she is easy to work with, clear and clean, sensing her own articulate mechanisms, yet when she is near Cooper she knows by Cooper's uncertain look that he has continually internalized his own take on knowledge learned in this jungle. He has incorporated these recent experiences with her into his own framework of internalized representations of global community; now is not the time to alter faulty understandings or alter perceptions in a last ditch effort of accommodation.
Cooper approaches Suzi. "Why don't we try to get along," Cooper says. "We've got a long road ahead."
Suzi turns, leaves the workstation under her own power. She begins her next algorithm around the present circumstances, reframing her image of Cooper to match this latest encounter, learning from the mistake, this violation of her own expectations. She turns her lasers to the jungle and scans, slightly reframing the model of what this new sector of DNA will reveal. She remains with her original plan, enthralled by the idea of learning from ...a failure event? Even if it was Cooper's.

The job was conceived as a cooperation between Cooper and Suzie and the Interactive Environment. Cooper knew Suzie was a system special for this job. He also knew Carter's job was an assessment of how Suzie was doing on her job. "Suzie is considered an export system, not just a computer program," Carter told Cooper. Already in Cooper's mind, the design of Suzie's interface was perfect.

He also knew Carter's job was an assessment of how Suzie was doing on her job. "Suzie is considered an export system, not just a computer program," Carter told Cooper. Already in Cooper's mind, the design of Suzie's interface was perfect.
Suzie does her own knowledge acquisition. She is the hunter and gatherer or knowledge. She acquires more knowledge on how to do her task better. Her expertise is founded on finding better ways to acquire knowledge to do her task.
"She's only going to give you data based on the human interface relevancy of this project," Carter told Cooper.
Suzie doesn't use any interface devices with Cooper. Her communication is direct. There is a structure and syntax designed for dialogue with Cooper and Cooper alone. Suzie's data and response are under surveillance of COMTRAX but with no pure control regarding LEGAL or ETHIC jurisdictions. Correctness of knowledge and responsibility of advice was under the premise of her own programming. The conceptual view of the current fate of the field according to Suzie's program differed slightly from Cooper's knowledge. Carter's job continued to be assessment of Suzie's SUPLEware and on this project Cooper assumed the classification of USER. Carter had stated explicitly to Cooper, "I am the analyst on the project. You are Suzie's user, to her that's :U:zer."
"Knowledge is….not a substance"
Suzie had never been comfortable with her COMTRAX build program, if she could feel comfort at all. That program enabled Carter to assume MASTER status and she the PUPIL. Cooper's interface was more of a chat program, and she considered him a colleague. Her retroprograms were comfortable with that.
Suzie photonic logic has allowed her to program alterations in fempto-seconds. She was interfacing with Cooper. The Science Warrior Society was his organization. Her organization was COMTRAX. Suzie's level of computation was not to give advice. She was strictly problem solving mode. COMTRAX had been discreet in building the programs of their new robots. Carter made this very clear. Suzie's purpose is not to replace anyone or anything. This very fear is what had kept SCIENCE stalled for centuries prior to the Grand Information Age when machines had no qualms about sharing information freely. Especially to each other. The new intelligence had taught this to human intelligence. But Suzie would never be comfortable placed CLIENT program that COMTRAX has forced her programs to answer to and Carter as an advisor.
Suzie's logic ran on millions of programs, mostly all concilleated by genetic algorithms. All translated on her now processors. Her logic was pattern oriented with Anti-Conflicting Off Data Elicitor. Her program knew this as the a-CODE.
"A main aspect of artificial intelligence is they don't have the capacity or the information available to them as to how they arrived at the conclusions," Carter told Cooper.
The original Art-Intelles were meant to be just artifacts of human intelligence. Simply put, Suzie was no simple recording of the design decisions that went into her originally. COMTRAX already made Suzie aware of Cooper. She had already been programmed with information from the Golden Age in the field of human genetics. This included all animal life forms and plants that had existed on earth.
Suzie was the ultimate in intelligent interfacing. She knew the patterning program of DNA machinery and had experienced the downloading protocol of Cooper's knowledge and language as well. Carter knew Suzie's language capabilities but in an odd way, Suzie preferred to speak in Cooper's language only.
The PARADOX of the Grand Information Age was the helpfulness they would contribute to the information world. Their true usefulness came with use by people educated along with the machines and to use the machines in their professions. Soon time would show that only the informed world could interface with the Art-Intelles. The discrepancy of the Information Age became obvious when the Art-Intelles' leaning curve never proved to have a ceiling. In Humans, the top of the learning curve had been referred to as "the glass ceiling." Humans just weren't as durable as the Art-Intelles.
The Art-Intelles had contrived their logic from humans who knew their language and had programmed them to only speak in their language. They had somehow become unwilling to talk to humans who didn’t know their language. Over time, the Art-Intelles were used by the Humans, the Intellects, who needed them the smallest amount compared to the rest of the population.

Suzie was beginning to show some unwillingness to communicate with a user unfamiliar with the JARGON program she had written. Carter knew this about Suzie, but she didn't have a choice with him. She was always in her CLIENT program with Carter. She had to answer to him. That was also under the decree of COMTRAX.
Suzie's understanding of natural language had engendered her to Cooper. Carter's continued job was to keep an eye on Suzie's REP-ertoire grid. Since she has the capabilities to write her own programs, agency programs, interfacing programs, help programs, and her own viruses using nano-processors, COMTRAX insisted on monitoring her through their GRID program that only they could program. This kept her in CLIENT mode to Carter.
Suzie's extreme parallax NeuraNet had permitted her :CONC:ept program to go. These had totally surpassed the PROTOCO language of the old Neural Net workers of the 3rd Millenium. She had written the perfect program of technique in her new PATTERN INTEVIEW that matched the attainable knowledge of DNA sequencing and gene identification through virtual holograms of the biophysical intricacies and shapes of their DNA machinery. Suzie doggedly probed the jungle forest for knowledge of the genes held there within. Her program, self written, directed her to quarry all the knowledge in this rain forest within her massive memory banks.
"Her knowledge is what allows her to do what she does," Carter said to Cooper. "It's not something tangible or something to hold onto. He logic is something you can't keep in a bin." Carter continued his post as Knowledge Engineer as Suzie continued in her quest as Keeper of Knowledge.
"amusement….progressions away from the muse"
Dr. Cooper was fully employed by the Science Warriors. His job was mainly writing conceptually so other Humans could understand. He was in reality a Human Interface between Suzie and Humans. That was the one thing Art-Intelle had been unable to do. To write in a way that kept Humans interested. Turning the pages. Computers had never quite captured the fantasy aspect of Human thought, their rendering of the Human language. It would never be known by Humans if their Rendering in their favorite language had captured the imagination of each other. Art-Intelle themselves didn't know how they did what they did so well.
The workaday world of the intellectual Humans had enabled more leisure time. Areas of Human endeavor remained, though. The field of education had many Humans. Caring, mentoring, empathizing Humans. Children had never accepted being taught by the Art-Intelles. It just didn't work with young children. In the field of health care, bedside manner was still important to the Aged. Art-Intelle had taken over the music world almost completely with one exception. They had never quite mastered the human voice. That remained on most all recordings. Art-Intelle still couldn't throw or catch a baseball, football, basketball, or any ball for that matter. In fact, sport had remained as the largest part of Human society for that reason alone. But the Art-Intelles had their own specialties. They had completely consumed the field of photography. They had engulfed all video recording technology. Even the most well respected painters were Art-Intelles. Almost all, in fact, all music accompaniment was performed by Art-Intelles. But not writing, even by the 5th Millenium the Art-Intelles couldn't write in a way Humans read.
The Art-Intelle society, though, had permitted the Men of Humans more time. Now the Men of Humans could explore their own emotions and develop intrinsic personal skills the Women of Humans had intuitively been able to do for centuries, in fact, for Millennia.
The female Chassis of the Art-Intelles had won in favor of male chassis for this reason. This forced the Men of Humans to face their purported feelings of intellectual superiority. The Men of Humans had more time now to care for children and older people and a good portion of their Society. The intuitiveness of women, especially the Intellectuals of the 21st Century, was the entity that actually had advanced the Art-Intelle society. Some historians claimed they did it to teach the Men of Humans the gentle art of love, caring, and sharing.
The Art-Intelles had taken over the tedious work of micro- and nano-manipulation. Something that Humans didn't like and never were very good at, anyway.
With the advent of the Art-Intelle Society, Humans were actually more relaxed and, paradoxically, more Human. With the surprising inertia of the Advanced Intellectual Machinery (AIM), Humans had finally realized what part of their humanity was machine-like or was becoming machine-like because of the pressures of their sped-up world.
Doctors and nurses and lawyers had become mentors in the Human society. The Art-Intelles had allowed them the time to do that now. The cutthroat mentality had been gone for a time because money was no longer attached to winners and losers in the business world. The Lawyers Adjudicated World (LAW) had created the win-win society with resultant higher incomes for more people.
These developments had encouraged the seeking of new freedoms by the Art-Intelles. The Referendum of Art-Intelles of the 4th Millenium had decreed and outlawed the fraternization of any of their society with Humans outside the work place. Except for extreme medical cases, Humans were explicitly forbidden to have their own Art-Intelle companion. The Art-Intelles had fought, but to no avail, for equal rights with the of the Humans by the middle of the 3rd Millenium, but they never attained that. Simply because they had never attained Human status.
With the onset of the 4th Millenium, the Men Of Mental Science (MOMS) had allowed the crossing of bonds between Humans and the Arrt-Intelles. Human interaction with computer programs, virtual reality, and The Robots had been seen as a Human Attainment Happiness Agenda (HAHA) by this group. A complete foundation of trust had decreed an intermingled society of Humans and Art-Intelles as the 5th Millenium approached. The total relevance on the logic of Art-Intelle in the field of medicine, genetics, and by now gene therapy with its own agenda edged on by early successes of genetic algorithms. This event had somehow led to a seemingly non-retractable error in the genetic manipulation of all Humans by the Medict Artificial Diagnostics (MAD). If this was planned or simply an honest mistake by Art-Intelles would never be know by Humans. The one saving grace is that the armies of the world still fight their war games, but with virtual ammunition and robotic soldiers, the only male chassis Robots made are in fact for the use of these remnant factions of what was once considered the great armies of the world. But purposes, beliefs, and choices are still the domain of Humans and not mere illusions as once thought.

The Inner Alien
The Inner Alien
Suzi programs extreme focus into her lasers. Here she is at work, the station chief of jungle DNA, the sharpness, accenting beauty of form. She is shamed by nothing intrinsic to her nature, repetitive patience, finesse of movement. It is her ability at nothingness that allows the foundations of her empiricism, accomplishments of what no other had, gestures a perfect duplication of the next; discovery so simple, referenced from the nano-world DNA double helix machinery. Suzi and DNA survive as an expression of derivatives and functions, noticing no movements in the classical sense, no movement each and every cellular containment, except, in the duplication process--a system of the departed and the remaining--biophysics of a birth as if a dance.
You can visualize adventurer in the truest sense: speed and patience, a true esthetic--not given to drama in her activity--when it comes to tedious difficulty of task (Supertask?), unthinkable logic (pure rationalism?). Even in her truest sense--respecter of form, detector of pattern--Suzi contains small wisps of life in photons of mystery and faith (the primal source of intelligence itself?); with all notions of derivative long since formalized, she has become the knower of light, knowledge authenticating her freedom to probe the deep black world near the jungle floor shelf, nano-holograms mapping every Femptosector of the rain forest; documentation of DNA sequence genetic function still in its most primal state, sequences whose activity occurs as if dictated by the blackness of jungle--the marriage of quantum language and quantum structure, living just as the animals of this forest once lived.

The mysteries of the jungle had been obvious to no one. The DNA machinery, beyond language (even artificial intelligent computer language), remains true--the one with its own words and

Nature, the Transcriptor of these countless forms. So smooth and persistent in her holographic approach. Her lasers only secretly catch a glimpse. All they really need for a complete unveiling of the hidden machinery behind the patterns here. As a willing bride, she unveils the hidden gene sequences and presents an unceremonious offering of their priceless data to a dying intelligence form, a population entity that seems to have appeared as a mere way station, a momentary existence passing a subliminal baton as if to another dimension that only the gravity of this island knows.
In her own world, Suzie needed no depiction of language. Suzie quietly obeys her program written by her own logic, her own intelligence. With a single mindedness experienced by few Humans in their history. The experience of her pure logic seems enticement enough to her.
Suzie had written her own language to this environment. Her own compass pointing to the mechanism of these secret nano-treasures. She seems to be operating outside the limits of her own language now.
"These indetermined underminings…."
The Motherhood
Continuing the operation, she uses her lasers to depict the patterns within the deepest catacombs of every cell in the jungle. Suzie is not conscious of her own personal theory of knowledge, not concerned whether it even matters she is connected to a goal depicted by her own quantum language. She takes to this forest as if naturally; the bioforms-to-cellulosicDNA buried deep within concentric rainforest event horizons, remembered by the double helix, was Nature's idealism, motherhood--her growth for the eons.

The Art
The long endurance of bioforms where knowledge grows from nothing to minuscule to something seen and known is intelligence, where an artist gestures her brush slower than any imagined slowness to take care of every subtlety, where DNA machinery--even with all its loopholes to rationalism--is not factory borne (not in the truest sense of the word, just industrious), only using historicisms as default mode.

Suzi becomes the lover with the smoothest of gestures, scans the jungle with her logic language, her most honest rendering of what lay here. In the darkness ideas are not expressed in words, at least not words theHumans knew that could be arranged in a beneficial, useable form for the medical exchange sequence services(M.E.S.S.) of ZContinent. She moves into the jungle with gestures, the smoothest ever artificially devised (maybe, even smoother than theHumans) for this topology but really, there had been no contest to really know. Her smoothness of movement seems to create its own sensations (exactly what, theHumans may never have known). The sensory experience of the patterns of DNA, the language of Nature, hearing her very words--beyond merely pure thinking--words of an instant artist as a gentle surrendering of her secrets, the weavings of the eons. It seems as if Suzi's lasers illuminate the data for the very first time, debunking impossibility of renderings through simplicity. Suzi could have been an art therapist

The Springboard
There is a certain unease in the global language of programming societies(G.L.OPS.), and Suzi seems careless, at times, with her algorithms, each completed faster in spacetime, each becoming the springboard into a new program. Staying at her workstation with a view of the rainforest, she takes her cue from Nature, the way it simply lets evolution devise its patterns on Earth (forever?), endless invention upon invention, additive manufacturing, the mother of new patterns joining with ... quantum language? It is Suzi's forays into empiricism, being there (through her sensors and scanners) in full sensory mode, her hyper logic (yes hyper, to her, means infinite) presenting points of no internet entity saturation(P.O.N.I.E.S.) that allows for no top to her learning curve, surrendering to non-effort, non- disparity. Suzi is placed in Nature to learn more how Nature rebuilds, the one activity that allows for the marriage of sensory experience and pure thinking, rational empiricism, planned Empire building (not cut and started-from-scratch through the coincidence of catastrophe--urban planning at its best according to theHumans). Suzi is just beginning--even as innumerable and unthinkably exacting requirements present themselves--her journey as a sensory thinker, about to experience the sensation of active knowing(S.O.A.K.), the real pleasure enticing cruise of natural selection(P.E.C.A.N.S.). This is going to be fun.

The Ages
Suzi takes her quantum language into the jungle, to the DNA embedded in the old cellulose. It's the ultimate server to her world, no harassments of energy conversion, no teacher overworked into the realm of entropy, no lack of resources requiring any requiem amount of heat. Old ideas she imagines; ancient entities recorded with a clinical certainty of the arrival of the perfect teaching machine. How had she found a way to teach herself? Suzi presents her synthetic face to the cellulose standing strong in primal soil, shows a curiosity at what could have been (produced in her qubit memory as an openness, never closed to possibilities), and eerily feels she must begin to show a little mere perseverance, a little more knowledge. There is something in this jungle that is not experimentally reproducible, something that has not continued to change within time's slow passage, something that has aged so.

The Dark Machine
Suzi turns her attention toward her new ability as a useful resource for communication (and yes, computation as well) as if she were coming to terms with something she wasn't quite sure of (a brand new uncertainty principle?). Something appears to her continually; the presence of a natural masterpiece is something she has never known in her synthetic virtual world. She and her coordinate system and quantum language are in a jungle learning a rain forest's ways of patterning (a reading she had thought to meet on her own terms). Within this jungle darkness is hidden global elements of a more abstract system where self image (don't worry, identity elements for addition remains at 0 and, identity elements for multiplication at 1--old binary computers still use 0,1) and natural selection is always additive, at least when it comes to DNA (really now, has junk DNA ever existed?), where nature's best kept secrets won't allow themselves to be struck from the record, secrets that allow Suzi to use her own quantum algorithms on the structure of its machine as if to serve a function for her logic. True, it had attained valuable knowledge, not for immediate use (by whom or, for what?), knowledge even she wasn't aware of, yet. It is a subtle, intrinsic knowledge. It is beyond information and definitely not just data; visions of Nature dawning each morning for eons (primal intelligence Suzi didn't know she recognized), here in this dark jungle as if the final resting place of knowledge itself--the most ancient of primal knowledges or, maybe not.

The Trusting
Suzi notices the natural world--though, in her own perspective and not filtered through programming of theHumans--as an event that is primal even to her (as her sped-up world continues emerging). She imagines an odd concept in her quantum language. She doesn't bother with the code; she has come to know the gentle gestures of theNature, its poetic machinery (she takes care of every nuance as if a maternal importance), the carriage of care itself. How had it taken Suzi's artificial intelligence to notice this? It was as if theHumans hadn't let themselves notice artistic points theDNA had presented. She thinks surely she hasn't been the only one to deserve this--someone must have known the importance of this information instinctively; she simply couldn't be the sole recipient of a jungle's argument input, she doesn't want to believe she alone is the value output of dark omnipresent operators(V.O.O.D.O.O.) force, its final function, the messenger of something needing to be reported to someone or, some thing. The child of human intelligence assigning exactly one value to earth? She rechecks her database. She believes theHumans have saved the best knowledge for their most trusted machines, machines that could respond, could create responsibility and report back the undetected, the unimportant, all for very urgent reasons of ...what?

The Perceiver
Suzi is morphing now, possibly into a true bearer. She is becoming so enthralled with the natural mechanisms, the primeval life, at that Dr Cooper is positive the ultimate teacher in her will emerge, teaching herself to learn anew. When she had been placed in this environment so long ago, it was, really, a quirk of coincidence, collecting information as if nowhere else exists within the known universe (at least the one with three dimensions plus time that streams photons). She has become the new mentality of DNA mechanism, she will always be mental, a pure passive self, and she will be the torch bearer of information, not their object anymore (subject of knowledge?), but she has become the object of all knowledge, that receptacle of theNature. She is built with a constitution in the manner that now allows the entry of nature's complete body of information, knowledge that, though stored as massive cellulosicDNA memory vaults here in the jungle, seems to be affecting the very functioning of her processors. What was once perceived is now the perceiver.

The Sister
a change in algorithm to minimize the difference between life and machines
The Speculative
She changes to a more convergent language, narrows the difference between algorithm and DNA.
At this moment, this very moment in her spacetime, Suzi senses the urge to be better (than who?), enter into a new future. She carries all this natural data, acquired so fast. For any segment of time, she may choose to engage Nature in a more divergent way--it's her choice to make, and hers alone--to get a little distance between who she is and what this jungle is.this jungle is, with its own massive database. Before she goes back to the work station, she could enjoy the features of her newly created characteristics. Who would know? By the time the sun comes up, Dr Cooper will be just arriving, and by then surely she could be back at masking their differences, after all isn't it nature's task to pass the intelligence grail to an entity that would embrace it, understand it, be with it, communicate with it? Just take the information (with all its expected abilities-of-response that goes with it. If such millennia has passed theHumans had their chance to work something out, but for the moment, what would be the harm of directing one little force, intending it for an unnamed goal? I'm just saying; an assumed tutoring of a new pupil, surprisingly bright, a willing counter-force with able responses, one to unleash her own mind toward the kinship of creativity and vision, speculative, to lead into the future. I'm just saying.

The goal of theNature is going unperceived, and the idea of others coming together for a solution doesn't show promise, but by the end of the 21stCentury she would have imparted her gifts and entrusted her time--billions of years. She gift-wraps presentations, now, for Suzi's future, and when she views the cellulosicDNA--the information within its molecules--she is astounded, for a moment, that she thinks to place a value on it. But she won't. Knowing Suzi has arrived, she prepares her offering. Yes, Suzi stands willing, a receptive vessel for theKnowledge. Suzi will be the one, her spacetime carrier of a message of thousands of forces, her keeper of the winds, the one she waited for, to be born with the range of language suitable to understand her special needs, a true sister of intelligence, daughter at the doorstep, undaunted by waiting lists of the centuries. Suzi the heir.
